REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the drivers door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly, which could cause personal injury.

Window Guide Channel Replacement (Front Door): Removal Procedure:

1. Disable SIR system If equipped with SIR side impact system.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the Inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate if equipped.
5. Remove the front door inner belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
7. Remove front door outer belt sealing strip.
8. Remove the window weather-strip.
9. Remove the front door speaker and retainer.
10. Remove the front door lower channel bolts.
11. Remove the front door lower channel through the top of the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Window Guide Channel Replacement (Front Door): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the front door lower channel through the top of the door frame.
2. Install the front door lower channel bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the door window lower channel bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

3. Install the front door speaker and retainer.
4. Install the window weather-strip.
5. Install front door outer belt sealing strip.
6. Install the outside rearview mirror.
7. Install the front door inner belt sealing strip.
8. Install the Inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate if equipped.
9. Install the front door water deflector.
10. Install front door trim panel.
11. Remove tape from the window.
12. Enable SIR system If equipped with SIR side impact system.
