Energy Absorber Replacement - Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Energy Absorber Replacement (Front): Removal Procedure:

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front fascia.
3. Remove the front bumper fascia support.
4. Remove the front bumper impact bar.
5. Remove the bolts (1) and the nuts (2) from the front bumper energy absorber and bracket.

6. Remove the front bumper energy absorber and bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Energy Absorber Replacement (Front): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the front bumper energy absorber and bracket.

Energy Absorber Replacement (Front): Installation Procedure:

2. Install the bolts (1) and the nuts to (2) the front bumper energy absorber and bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the front bumper energy absorber bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

3. Install the front bumper impact bar. Remove the front bumper impact bar.
4. Install the front bumper fascia support.
5. Install the front fascia.
6. Lower the vehicle.
