Trim Height Sensor Adjustment with Commercial Chassis

The link must be attached to the height sensor arm and suspension control arm during the adjustment.
1. Park vehicle on a level floor.
2. Check the following:
^ Tire inflation pressures and adjust if necessary.
^ Fuel level in tank; tank should be full or adjust rear suspension loading to simulate a full fuel load: 3.75 liters (1 gal.) weighs about 3.2 kg (7 lb.).
^ No other load is in vehicle.
3. Place front seat in rear position.
4. Turn ignition to "ON" to activate the system.
5. Bounce rear of vehicle three times to normalize the suspension.
6. Measure trim height "K," on both sides.
7. If the trim heights vary from side to side more than 19 mm (3/4 inch), and both trim heights are lower than 230 mm (9 inches), then there is a problem with the rear springs or suspension.
^ Do not continue this procedure until the above suspension problem is corrected.
8. Loosen the lock bolt (G) that clamps the metal actuating arm to the plastic actuating arm (F). To raise trim height, move plastic arm upward; to lower trim height, move it downward.
9. Tighten lock bolt (G).
