Rear Fog Lamps
When the ignition switch is in RUN, battery voltage is applied to the coil of Rear Foglamps Relay "C" from the IGN 1 Fuse. when the headlamps, park lamps, or front foglamps are on, battery voltage is applied to the switch of Rear Foglamps Relay "C" from the RT PARK Fuse. When the rear foglamp switch is enabled, terminal C8 of Instrument Panel Cluster
(IPC) connector C3 is grounded through the
Headlamp Switch. In response to this input, the IPC sends a request via the Class 2 serial data line to the Body Control Module
(PZM) to activate the front foglamps. The PZM provides ground for the coil. The coil is energized closing the switch contacts. Voltage is then applied to the LH rear foglamp, RH rear foglamp and the rear foglamps ON indicator.
