Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE
Due to the sensitivity of ABS components to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), the following checks should be performed if an intermittent malfunction is suspected.
- Check for proper installation of wiring harnesses resulting from add-on options.
- Check for proper routing of front wheel speed sensor wiring near spark plug wires.
- Using DMM, J 39200, measure resistance of spark plug wires. If the J 39200 displays OL (infinite) or greater than 30,000 ohms for any wire, replace spark plug wires.
