Compact Disc Changer Functions

SEEK to go to the start of track (if more than 8 seconds have played). SEEK to hear the next track now ( instead of waiting until the present track is finished). If you hold this button or press it more than once, the disc will advance further.

REV - Press and hold REV to return rapidly to a favorite passage. Release it to resume playing. Note the elapsed time in the graphic display to stop at a specific passage. During REV operation audio can be heard at a reduced level.

FWD - Press and hold FWD to return rapidly to a favorite passage. Release it to resume playing. Note the elapsed time in the graphic display to stop at a specific passage. During FWD operation audio can be heard at a reduced level.

RDM - The RDM button means random and when it is pressed, it causes the CD mechanism to play the tracks in a random order rather than in sequence. RDM is displayed when active.

RCL - Press RCL to see what track is playing. Press it again within 5 seconds to see how long it has been playing. During the EL TM (elapsed time) function, EL TM appears in the display. The track number also appears when a new track starts to play. Display priority can be changed be pressing and holding the RCL button as described in the radio.

SCAN - Press SCAN to listen to selections for a few seconds. SCAN lights up in the display. Press SCAN again to stop scanning. Audio is muted during SCAN operation.

TAPE/CD - Press AM FM and the disc will stop and the radio will play. Press the CD side of the TAPE/CD button to restart the disc at the point where

STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS - In vehicles with SWC, when the radio includes a cassette, pressing PROG on the SWC will cause the tape to change directions. In a CD changer equipped radio, pressing PROG will produce a disc change in ascending order. Pressing VOL will increase or decrease the volume. Pressing SEEK will control the NEXT function on Tape and CD.
