U1300 Class 2 Short to Ground
Circuit Description:
When PZM is "awake" it monitors the Class 2 serial data line for a short to ground.
DTC Will Set When:
The PZM determines that the Class 2 serial data line is shorted to ground for approximately 10 seconds or more.
Action Taken (By PZM):
The PZM will use default values for any information needed from the other modules on the Class 2 serial data line.
DTC Will Clear When:
The PZM determines that the Class 2 serial data line is no longer shorted to ground.
Troubleshooting Hints:
1. Because when DTC U1300 is current the modules on the Class 2 serial data line can not communicate with each other or diagnostic equipment, DTC U1300 should Always be a history code.
2. Check CKT 1807 (PPL) for a intermittent shorts to ground.
