CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The high-side (battery) voltage for the Continuously Variable Road Sensing Suspension (CVRSS) damper actuators is supplied to the CVRSS control module through the CVRSS Damper Control Relay ("RTD BODY") circuit. The Damper Control Relay circuit is controlled by the CVRSS module. The CVRSS control module monitors the relay drive circuit and each damper actuator high-side and low-side drive circuits for fault conditions.

CONDITION FOR SETTING THE CODE "CURRENT"
The CVRSS control module measures a feedback voltage greater than a preset threshold during a damper relay ON state.

ACTIONS TAKEN WHEN CODE SETS "CURRENT"
^ ALL damper actuators will be disabled by commanding 0° Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) duty cycle (Vehicle ride will be soft).
^ Vehicle speed will be limited.
^ The "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message will be displayed.

CONDITION FOR CODE TURNING "HISTORY"
The CVRSS control module no longer senses a high feedback voltage during a damper relay ON state.

HOW TO CLEAR THE CODE
^ Use the scan tool.
^ Use the On-Board diagnostic "CLEAR RSS CODES" feature.

TEST DESCRIPTION
The numbers below refer to step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. Checks for an internal open or short in the coil of the relay.
3. Checks for short to voltage on circuit 1112.
4. Checks for intermittents.
