B1973
Circuit Description:
Modules under "Controlled Power" are supplied power through the "Controlled Power Relay." The "High Power Control" output is grounded whenever the PZM is awake and for 15 minutes after the ignition switch is turned to the "LOCK" position. After the 15 minutes elapse the "Low Power Driver Output" is turned "ON." The "Low Power Driver Output" will supply up to 2 amps of current for up to 3 days. If the PZM detects that more than 2 amps are needed, it will wake-up and turn "ON" the "High Power Control" output.
DTC Will Set When:
The "High Power Control" voltage does not match that of the feedback voltage for two seconds.
Action Taken (By PZM):
The PZM turns off the Low Power Output if the ignition is in the "LOCK", "OFF", or "Accessory" position.
DTC Will Clear When:
The PZM does not detect the malfunction for one monitoring cycle.
