Right Side Engine Mount and Transaxle Mount



Remove or Disconnect






1. Open hood.
2. Brace from engine bracket to engine.
3. Two nuts securing engine bracket to mount.
4. Raise car on hoist.
5. Support car with stands at each front frame horn.
6. Two nuts on engine mount securing it to frame.
7. Two nuts securing transaxle bracket to mount.
8. Two nuts securing transaxle mount to frame bracket.
9. Raise engine using engine support Tool No.3 28467.
10. Raise engine until bracket is free from engine mount and transaxle mount. Remove stud and two bolts that secure bracket to block. Remove mount and bracket by pulling forward.
11. Transaxle mounting bracket from transaxle.
12. Mount assembly.

Install or Connect






1. Position engine mount and bracket, Figure 4, in place between cylinder block and frame. Secure bracket to block with one stud and two bolts. Tighten to 46 Nm (34 lbs. ft.)
2. Position transaxle mount and bracket, Figure 4, in place between transaxle and frame. Secure bracket to transaxle with two bolts. Tighten to 46 Nm (34 lbs. ft.)

Important Guide motor mount into location while lowering engine.

3. Lower engine.
4. Engine mount to frame and transaxle mount to frame bracket with two nuts each. Tighten to 31 Nm (22 lbs. ft.)
5. Two nuts to engine mount studs and two nuts to transaxle mount studs. Tighten to 31 N.m (22 lbs. ft.)
6. Brace from engine bracket to engine.
7. Remove stands and lower hoist.
