Chart A "Antilock" Indicator & "Traction Disabled" Message Illuminated With No DTC's Set & No TCS Data:
CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.
1. Checks if condition is due to a poor connection at the EBTCM. Make sure the connector is seated properly.
2. Verifies that Fuse A5 is good.
3. Checks ignition voltage at the EBTCM.
4. This step checks for possible open or high resistance in CKT 1339 if there is insufficient voltage measured in Step 3. It is assumed a short to ground on CKT 1339 would have caused an open Fuse A5.
5. Checks EBTCM ground resistance. It should be less than 1 ohm.
6. Problem is in serial data link, this is covered in DTC 72.
DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
IPC Diagnostic Trouble Code 1032 and PCM Code P137 should be present. If all of the IPC data line codes are present, refer to IPC System Check.
