CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The I/P cluster sends a message over UART containing identification information. The cluster message includes vehicle body type identification information. If the message sent from the cluster does not match the calibration information stored in the SDM DTC RO55 is set.

DTC WILL SET WHEN
The identification information message sent over UART from the I/P cluster does not match the identification information stored in the SDM.

ACTION TAKEN
SDM turns "ON" the "AIR BAG" warning lamp and sets a diagnostic trouble code.

DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN
The ignition switch is turned "OFF."
