A037
Wiring Diagram:
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
DTC A037 sets whenever the ignition is ON and the Air Conditioning Programmer (ACP) has lost data communication with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). DTC should be seen only as a "History" DTC (if communications are currently inoperative the ACP will not be able to communicate with the IPC to display the DTC).
Diagnosis of DTC is dependent upon other system symptoms (DTCs) present with A037.
A037 and 1037
DTC 1037, Loss of ACP Data, may be present with this DTC. If so, this indicates that both the IPC and ACP were functional when the DTC was set, but they could not communicate with each other. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators to diagnose the IPC DTC.
Testing and Inspection
NOTES ON INTERMITTENT CONNECTION
If an intermittent DTC is being set, select ACP Snapshot Data for DTC and note value of ACP data parameter. Manipulate the related wiring while observing ACP data parameter. If a failure is induced, the displayed data parameter value will be outside the sensors normal operating range.
