"__" Displayed In Fuel Data Panel

If a failure occurs in the serial data communications from the IPC to the PCM, "--" will be displayed in the fuel data panel display. This symptom should be diagnosed by retrieving and diagnosing the PCM to IPC serial data trouble code.
