Line Pressure Check

Refer to the image during adapter and gauge installation.



Once installation of adapter and gauge has been completed, refer to this image for line pressure checking procedure.

1. Remove air cleaner assembly, then raise and support vehicle.

2. Install bar stock into pressure plug, then remove line pressure plug.

3. Install line pressure fitting using a ratchet box wrench, then tighten adapter so insert hole for dowel rod is in one o'clock position.

4. Lower vehicle and install dowel rod, then attach line pressure gauge and hose to dowel rod fitting.

5. Secure hose in a safe position to avoid damage to tools and vehicle during line pressure testing.

6. Reverse procedure to remove adapter and gauge set.
