Starter Does Not Click, Engine Does Not Crank

DEFINITION:
Starter solenoid does not energize and engine does not turn over.


DIAGNOSTIC NOTE:
This vehicle is equipped with Passkey(R) theft deterrent system. The system does not require ACTIVE arming or disarming by the operator. The system instead reads an imbedded pellet in the ignition key to PASSIVELY activate the security system. If no other electrical problems can be found, diagnose the Passkey(R) theft deterrent system for proper operation.
