Fasten Belts Warning (Slow Chime)

When the Chime Module first sees voltage from Fuse A3 (at terminal D2), the module determines if the driver's seat belt is buckled by monitoring the seat belt switch input state at terminal A2. If the driver's seat belt is not buckled the seat belt switch input is grounded through the closed Seat Belt Switch. If the seat belt switch input is grounded the Chime Module will sound the slow chime for 4 to 8 seconds and illuminate the seatbelt indicator for 60 to 90 seconds by applying voltage through CKT 237 to the indicator. If the driver's seat belt is buckled the Chime Module will not sound and the indicator will not light.
