DTC P0657
- Actuator High Control Circuit Group Malfunction
Circuit/System Description
This DTC applies to the internal 5 V reference voltage supply within the transmission control module (TCM).
Conditions for Running the DTC
* The ignition is ON.
* The DTCs run continuously once the above condition is met.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The internal 12 V reference voltage is too low.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
DTC P0657 is a Type C DTC.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
DTC P0657 is a Type C DTC.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify DTC P0657 is not set.
• If the DTC is set
1. Program the K71 Transmission Control Module. Refer to Control Module References Control Module References
2. Verify DTC P0657 is not set.
• If the DTC is set, replace the K71 Transmission Control Module.
• If the DTC is not set
3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. It may be helpful to operate the vehicle within the conditions identified from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
4. Verify the DTC is not set.
• If the DTC is set
Replace the K71 Transmission Control Module.
• If the DTC is not set
5. All OK.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification Verification Tests after completing the repair.
