51 43 201 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim For Roof Pillar At Front (A-pillar), Left Or Right







Special tools required:
- 00 9 325
- 00 9 340







WARNING:
Follow safety informations for working on vehicles with airbag systems.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove trim (risk of damage to head airbag).







When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).







Lever out cover (1) applying slight pressure toward the front with special tool 00 9 325 and remove.







Installation note:
Attach front cover (1) correctly.







F06 and F13 only:
Unclip and remove protective cap (1) using special tool 00 9 340.
Release screw below it.
Tightening torque 51 43 1AZ.







NOTE: Graphic is similar.

Detach edge protection (2) in area of trim panel (1).
Unclip cover (1) using special tool 00 9 325.
Feed out trim panel (1) from dashboard and remove.







Installation note:
Clips (1) must not be missing or damaged.
Clip trim panel (2) with latch mechanism (3) into dashboard.
Position trim panel (2) on associated bore holes of clips (1) and clip into place.
