Head-Up Display: M View Defaults to Standard View

SITUATION
After the vehicle was programmed with ISTA/P 2.47.1 or higher, the M view in the Head-Up Display (HUD) constantly defaults to the standard view afier the ignition has been turned off and the vehicle has entered sleep mode (after approx. 16 minutes).

The customer must change the HUD setting back to M view every time the ignition is turned on again.

CAUSE
Concept change in the HUD through a software update introduced with ISTA/P 2.47.1 or higher

INFORMATION
Do not replace any parts.

Since this is part of the Head-Up Display concept change, it is normal operation after programming the vehicle with ISTA/P 2.47.1 or higher.

Note:
It is not possible to change the functionality of the Head-Up Display to how it performed before the software update.
