51 16 041 Removing And Installing/Replacing Protective Cap On Left Or Right Exterior Mirror (From 07/12)







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove mirror glass







NOTE:
- Protective cap is secured without play to the retaining ring by means of multitooth catches (1).
- Secure protective cap on exterior mirror against falling off.

Raise catches (2) slightly and detach protective cap towards front from multitooth catch (1).







Installation note:
Catches and guides must not be missing or damaged.
