51 16 163 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear Centre Console Cover







Special tools required:
- 00 9 325







When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.







IMPORTANT:
- Risk of damage.
- If necessary, mask centre console (1) and cover (2) with plastic adhesive tape.

Press special tool 00 9 325 between centre console (1) and cover (2).
Unclip cover (2) towards rear.
If necessary, unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
Remove cover (2).







Installation note:
Latches on cover and counterparts on centre console must not be missing or damaged.

Replacement (depending on version):
- Modify fresh air grille in rear passenger compartment (1)
- Modify 12 V charging socket (2)
- Modify switch (3)
