Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair
32 41 250 Removing and installing/replacing fluid reservoir for power steering N74Warning!
Danger of poisoning if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
Risk of injury if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!
Important!
Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Seal off hydraulic lines with plugs.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Draw off and dispose of hydraulic fluid from fluid reservoir
^ Remove acoustic cover
^ Remove left intake duct
Release screws (1) and (2).
Tightening torque 32 41 21AZ.
Open hose clamps (3) and (4) and detach lines.
Unlock plug connections on oil level sensor and disconnect.
Remove container.
Installation:
Replace hose clamps.
Replacement:
If necessary, modify level switch.
After installation:
^ Fill and bleed hydraulic system
^ Check pipe connections for leaks
^ If necessary, carry out initial Dynamic Drive operation
