DVD Player: Service and Repair

65 11 075 Removing and installing/replacing DVD changer

Special tools required:







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection).







NOTE: Comply with notes and notes on handling optical fibres.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect negative battery cable
- Remove trim for instrument panel at bottom right







Open glove box cover (3).
Unclip trims (1) with a suitable tool and release screws behind.
Using special tool 00 9 327, press DVD changer (2) down slightly and then pull out forward out of glove box.
Pull DVD changer (2) out of guide.







Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Remove DVD changer (2).

Installation note:
Insert DVD changer (2).
Pull down wiring harness (3) over opening (4).







Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/coding.
