61 12 002 - Replacing battery positive lead

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove power distributor 61 14 010 Removing and Installing/Replacing Distribution Box (on Battery)





Important!
Do not under any circumstances pull/lever safety battery terminal off by force.





Open cover (1) and slacken nut underneath. Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 12 3AZ Specifications.
If necessary, disconnect cable (4) from safety battery terminal.
Disconnect battery positive lead (3).
