Outside Temperature Display Sensor: Service and Repair

65 81 060 - Removing and installing/replacing outside temperature sensor





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front underbody protection 51 47 490 Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Underbody Protection





Note:
Outside temperature sensor is situated in area (1) on left wheel arch cover (2).





Note:
For purposes of clarity, illustration shows wheel arch cover removed.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unclip outside temperature sensor (2) in direction of arrow from wheel arch cover.

Installation:
Make sure outside temperature sensor (2) is correctly engaged in wheel arch cover.
