34 52 535 - Replacing a rear pulse generator





Important!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear wheel Service and Repair
- Remove rear splash guard 51 71 ... Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Wheel Arch Splash Guard
- Read and comply with General Information Service and Repair.





Release screw (1).
Withdraw wheel speed sensor (2) from bore hole.

Installation Note:
Tightening torque 34 51 4AZ 34 51 Slip Control System (DSC).
Clean bore for pulse generator and lubricate with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease.





Disengage line (1) along trailing arm from holders.

Installation Note:
Ensure proper locking of the holders and proper seating of the line in the holders.

Open housing cover (1).

Disconnect plug connection.

Installation Note:
Ensure proper locking of plug connector and proper seating of rubber grommets.
