37 22 ... - Replacing air supply unit (version with Dynamic Drive)





Warning!
Danger of injury!
Drain the air spring system before carrying out any work on the air supply unit, air pipes and air springs! Danger of injury if this instruction is not complied with!
Risk of damage!
Extreme cleanliness must be ensured in the connection area of the pipes during removal and installation. Even the smallest of dirt particles can cause leakage in the air spring system.

Note:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Deactivate and empty air spring system 37 00 100 Draining/Filling Air Spring System
- Remove right underbody panelling Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Underbody Panelling
- Remove right tank underride protection Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Underbody Panelling





Release screw pins (1) and open holder.

Installation Note:
Replace screw pins.
Tightening torque 37 14 22AZ 37 14 Electric Components.





Expose control lines (1) up to front tension strut.
Remove connecting line for valve block from holder (3).
Release nuts (2) and remove valve block from body.

Installation Note:
Replace self-locking nuts.
Tightening torque 37 14 10AZ 37 14 Electric Components.

- Activate and fill air suspension system 37 00 100 Draining/Filling Air Spring System
