61 61 270 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Console For Windscreen Washer System Complete With Motor







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection).







IMPORTANT: Before installing the wiper arms, allow wiper motor to run into rest position.







IMPORTANT:
Emergency operation - danger of injury.
Disconnect battery cable







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove cowl panel cover







Release screws (1).
Remove centre air duct (2).

Installation note:
Make sure centre air duct (2) is fitted correctly.







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 61 61 3AZ.
Remove mounting bracket for windscreen wiper system (2) in direction of arrow.







Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Detach mounting bracket for windscreen wiper system (2).

Installation note:
Make sure mounting bracket for windscreen wiper system is fitted correctly.
