31 35 000 Removing and installing/replacing front stabilizer







IMPORTANT: To avoid complaints being made by the customer about noise, set the vehicle on its wheels and tighten down the stabilizer mounting to specified torque.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove fan cowl.
- N47T, N55, N57: Remove charge air cooler.
- N52T, N55: Drain coolant.
- N52TUnlock and detach coolant hoses on bottom of radiator.
- Remove anti-roll bar links from anti-roll bar.







N52T, N55:
Loosen screws on the coolant pipe (1).







N52T, N55:
Unlock and detach coolant hose (1) from gearbox oil cooler (2).







N52T, N55:
Unlock retaining clip (1). Pull the coolant hose (2) off the coolant thermostat (3).







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 31 35 1AZ
Remove both retaining brackets of anti-roll bar (2).
Remove the anti-roll bar toward the bottom front.

Installation note:
Check rubber mount on both sides, replace anti-roll bar if necessary.







After installation:
N52T, N55:
- Fill and bleed cooling system.
