Service Engine Soon Lamp Illuminated While Vehicle Is in Transportation Mode

[NEW] F30 (3 Series) 328i with N20 engine and 335i with N55 engine

INFORMATION

The Service Engine Soon lamp is illuminated or is flashing on and off while the vehicle is in transportation mode. The following fault will be stored in the DME fault memory:

FC 194301 tank leak module, self diagnosis malfunction

This is an erroneous fault that can be ignored.

The fault is caused by the active vehicle transportation mode. Once the transportation mode is deactivated, the fault will be cleared and the Service Engine Soon lamp will no longer be illuminated or flashing.
