Terminal 15

There are two lines for terminal 15 between the DDE control unit and CAS/FEM control unit:
- 15_WUP
This signal serves as a wake-up signal for the DDE control unit.

- 15_3
Via this signal the CAS/FEM control unit can switch off the injector control of the DDE control unit in situations that are critical to safety.

Both lines are monitored by the DDE.

Fault recognition in engine control unit
The following faults are monitored in the engine control unit:
- The signal transmission via the lines and the internal switches in the DDE control unit and in the CAS/FEM control unit are monitored by the DDE.
