54 13 055 Replacing Gasket For Slide/Tilt Sunroof Frame







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof cover at rear

NOTE: Follow repair instructions for bonded seals on slide/tilt sunroof.







Remove slide/tilt sunroof perimeter seal from body panel starting from joint where ends meet (peel off).

Installation note:
Clean bonding surface with adhesive remover (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
Press seal without stretching (squashing).
Stick on seal in sections.
Establish sealing joint.

IMPORTANT:
- Do not touch adhesive area.
- Surface temperature ≥ 20 °C Incorrect bonding of the gasket will result in leaks.
