54 13 060 Removing and installing/replacing floating headlining for glass slide/tilt sunroof







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof cover







Move the floating headlining with the slider (1) to the edge at the aperture of the guide rail.







Front floating headlining...
1. ... push up at a distance x = 100_mm from the front edge and simultaneously ...
2. ... unlock the floating headlining with a quick knock with the palm of your hand on the front edge.







NOTE:
Floating headlining is completely unlocked when the tabs of the floating headlining are positioned freely in the slider and the aperture of the guide rail. (see magnifying glass)

Lift the front edge of the floating headlining and remove toward the front. (Direction of arrow)

Installation note:
Insert the floating headlining with barcode to the rear.







Installation note:
1. Fit sliding sunshade in mechanism.
2. Push floating headlining forward to the stop (end position) in the mechanism.







Installation note:
Make sure the front tabs of the floating headlining is seated correctly in the mechanism.
Tabs must clip in correctly behind the lock (see aperture).
If necessary, check locking of tabs in the mechanism by moving the floating headlining back and forth.
Check the function with a button.
