51 43 201 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim Panel For Roof Pillar At Front (A-Pillar), Left Or Right

Special tools required:







WARNING: Follow safety instructions for working on vehicles with airbag systems.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove trim (risk of damage to head airbag).







Detach edge guard (2) in area of trim panel (1).
Unclip trim panel (1) at top.
Feed out trim panel (1) from dashboard and remove.







Installation note:
If necessary, lever out clips (1) remaining in bore.
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).
Make sure guides (3) of panel (2) are correctly seated in associated mountings. Position panel (2) pre-installed with clips (1) on associated bores and clip into place.
