51 46 050 Removing And Installing/Replacing Top Trim On Rear Apron

Special tools required:







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim (luggage compartment mat)
- Remove both trim panels for rear roof pillars (D-pillar)







Detach edge guard (1) in area of trim panel (4).
Release expanding rivet (2) and screw (3).
Remove trim panel (4).







Lift out cover (1) with special tool 00 9 325.







Release screws (1) on left/right.







Release screws (1).







Detach edge guard for rear lid (2) in marked area of cover (1).







Lever off cover (1) straight up from retaining clips (2).

Installation note:
Replace faulty retaining clips (2).
Retainers for tail panel (arrow) cover must not be damaged.
