51 16 366 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Glovebox With Housing







When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom left







Release screws (1) from below.
Tightening torque 51 16 16AZ







Release screws (1) on glovebox (2).
Tightening torque 51 16 16AZ.







Pull glovebox (1) somewhat forward and disconnect plug connection (2) from glovebox light.







Disconnect plug connection (1) from USB interface (3).
Remove glove compartment.

Replacement:
- Modify glove box light
- Modify USB interface connecting socket
