51 16 366 Removing and installing/replacing right glove box with housing







When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove dashboard trim, bottom left







Release screws (1) from below.
Tightening torque 51 16 16AZ







Release screws (1) on glove box (2).
Tightening torque 51 16 16AZ.







Pull glove box (1) somewhat forward and disconnect plug connection (2) from glove box light.







Disconnect plug connection (1) from USB interface (3).
Remove glove box.

Replacement:
- Modify damper for glove box
- Modify glove box cover
- Modify glove box light
- Modify USB interface connecting socket
