51 45 075 REmoving And Installing/Replacing Carrier For Instrument Panel







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove instrument panel trim
- Remove steering column
- Release plug connections.

Only if equipped with Head-Up Display optional equipment:
- Remove Head-Up Display







Undo bolts (1) on bulkhead.
Tightening torque 51 45 8AZ.







Installation note:
Seal (1) between carrier and bulkhead must not be damaged or missing.







Release screws (1) on tunnel.
Tightening torque 51 45 3AZ.
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 51 45 3AZ.
Release nuts (3) on A-pillar.
Tightening torque 51 45 2AZ
Remove dashboard support and feed out through driver's door.







Replacement:
Reinstall wiring harness (1) on dashboard support (2).
