54 10 295 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive Cable For Sliding Sunshade







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove front floating headliner:
- Remove drive unit with gearing







Remove end stop for cable on left and right.
Lever out pin (1) and remove expanding rivet.







Push back cable until driver (1) is exposed.







Pull cable at driver (1) out of guide channel.

NOTE: Both cables must be replaced together.







Adjusting drive cable:
Fit cable in guide channel such that driver (1) faces inward.
Slide left and right driver flush on guide rail.
Install drive with gearing.
Move cable over drive with cranked hexagon socket and check setting again.
If necessary, repeat adjusting procedure.
