Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Idle: Combustion miss SA: Offset outside tolerance range
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
At idle: At least 80 cycles after initial conditions are reached
in overrun phase: At least 200 cycles in overrun phase

Action in service
Interchange ignition coils:
1. If the malfunction migrates with the coil, then the coil is
defective
2. If the malfunction remains at the same cylinder, check the
ignition wire and power supply. If no fault is present in the
ignition wire or the power supply: Replace DME
