Fault description
Cold Start Idle Air Control System RPM Lower Than
Expected (Bank 1)

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
RPM too low by 150 rpm
(K_LLR_DIAG_CSS_N_ZU_KLEIN) and idle controller at
upper travel stop for 9 sec. (K_LLR_DIAG_T)
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
none

Condition for fault memory entry
9 sec.

Action in service
1. Check air-induction system for obstructions
2. Check idle actuator hose system for crushed and plugged
hoses

Fault effect and breakdown warning
No closed-loop idle control
MIL after engine runs 2x
