32 41 430 Replacing ARS Expansion Hose (From Vane Pump to Expansion Hose)

32 41 430 Replacing ARS expandable hose part 1 (from vane pump to expandable hose) N63

Special tools required:





Warning!
Danger of poisoning if oil is ingested/absorbed through the skin!
Risk of injury if oil comes into contact with eyes and skin!





Important!
Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Do not draw off hydraulic fluid (risk of contamination).
Close off line connections with seal plug.32 1 270

Recycling:
Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid in a suitable collecting vessel.





Important!
Pressure line and connections must be provided with suitable seal plugs 32 1 270 immediately after removal!





Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove fan cowl with electric fan
- Remove front underbody protection
- Remove left steering assembly cover
- Remove front active stabilizer
- Install cross member and secure engine in installation position
- Lower front axle





Release screw connection (1) on power steering pump and detach lines.

Tightening torque 37 13 10AZ.





Release holder (1) on power steering pump.

Tightening torque 32 41 14AZ.





Release screw connection (1) from silencer.

Tightening torque 37 13 13AZ.

Release screw connection (2) from holder.

Remove silencer.





Release holder (1).





Release block screw connection (1) and pull off line.

Tightening torque 37 13 8AZ.

Release holder (1).

Tightening torque 37 13 7AZ.





Feed out pressure line downwards!





Important!
When assembling, make sure that in succession only the seal plugs of the line to be fitted are removed.
When fitting lines, do not tilt connectors (sealing rings!) and connect fully before screwing.
Do not replace sealing rings on hydraulic lines.
Replace affected line if sealing ring is damaged.





After installation:
^ Fill and bleed hydraulic system
^ Check line connections for leak tightness
^ Start up Dynamic Drive
