51 45 314 Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim For Instrument Panel Centre Section







IMPORTANT: Risk of damage.

A hard disk is installed in the Car Information Computer (CIC).
Carry out mechanical work on the CIC and adjacent components with care.
Avoid subjecting the CIC to shaking/shocks.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove radio - A/C control panel
- Remove interior aerial for comfort access system
- Remove right glove box with housing
- Remove trim for pedals on left
- Remove rear centre console trim







Release screws on tunnel (1) on left and right.
Tightening torque 51 16 7AZ.







Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 51 16 4AZ.







Release screws (1).
Slide centre console (2) in direction of arrow towards rear.
Remove centre trim for instrument panel (3).

Installation:
Make trim for instrument panel centre section (3) is correctly seated.
