51 16 160 Removing And Installing/Replacing Centre Console Trim







Special tools required:
- 00 9 322
- 00 9 323







IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage.
Carry out the following operation carefully so as to avoid damage.
Tape off centre console trim in work area.







Carefully lever front centre armrest trim (1) with special tool 00 9 322 out of centre console and remove.







Release screws (1).

IMPORTANT: First tighten screws hand-tight.

Tightening torque 51 16 9AZ.
Carefully lever out centre console trim (2) with special tool 00 9 323.
Disconnect plug connections underneath.
Remove centre console trim (2) in direction of arrow.







Installation:
If necessary, replace retainers (1).
Make sure centre console trim (2) is correctly seated.

Replacement:
- Remove centre console operating unit
- Remove front controller.
