Rear Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

51 37 000 Removing And Installing / Replacing Complete Rear Left Or Right Power Window Regulator







WARNING:
- Danger of injury.
- Carry out work on the power window regulator only when the power window motor is de-energized.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear side window glass







Slacken bolt (1).
Tightening torque 51 35 11AZ.
Release screws (4).
Tightening torque 51 35 2AZ.
Disconnect plug connection (5).
Feed out power window regulator (3).

Installation note:
Holder (2) must be correctly seated on inner door panel rail.







Installation note:
Make sure guide lug (2) of power window regulator (1) is correctly seated in recess in door structure.







Final work operations:
- Pay attention to instructions for initialising the power window regulator

Replacement:
Remove flat motor for power window regulator
