Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive For Soft Close Automatic On Rear Lid (Soft Closure Aid)

51 24 133 - Removing and installing/replacing drive for Soft Close Automatic on rear lid (soft closure aid)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove trim panel for rear lid





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and feed out drive (3).
Tightening torque 51 24 4AZ 51 24 Tailgate Locks.





Feed Bowden cable out of rear lid lock Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Lid Lock.





Installation:
Make sure Bowden cable (1) is correctly positioned in rear lid.
Lay Bowden cable (1) without kinks.
