64 11 879 Replace Control Panel For Heater/air Conditioner

IMPORTANT:
Retrofitting must only be done in the supplied installation cassettes.
Use of supplied gloves is mandatory.
Carry out installation in a dust-free workshop area only.
To avoid damage, do not touch or dirty the display field.







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove radio and A/C control panel







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release short screw.
Tightening torque 61 31 2AZ.
Release long screws (2).
Tightening torque 61 31 2AZ.
Carefully unlock clamps (3).
Pull up and remove A/C unit (4).







Installation:
Assign buttons of A/C unit depending on equipment.







Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/encoding.
