51 24 326 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Tension Spring With Damper For Tailgate







Necessary preliminary work:
- Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch panel.







WARNING: Support tailgate in fully opened position with a suitable device. Danger of injury.







Press clamp (1) together.
Ball socket (2) jumps out of ball stud.

WARNING: The tailgate will drop down if it is not supported.







Unhook tension spring with damper (1) from tailgate hinge (2).
