Special tools required:
- 51 0 300

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clean rear window

In adhesive area (3) on outer side of glass (4) of rubber frame (1), apply primer 205 in area of the ends as per marking (2) and further along window edge. Wipe off immediately with a clean cloth so as to retain primer transparency.

Installation:

Replacing rubber frame:
Centre position of sealing lip (1) is determined by marking (2) of rear window and marking (3) on sealing lip.

Make sure that profile tyre tread rests correctly on window glass (otherwise water will get in).

Bond sealing lip (1) from centre marking (2). Remove protective liner (5) for positioning only approx. 100 mm and press down gently. Do not exert any elongation on the profile section.
Make sure that the section with the lip (3) cleanly rests against the edge (4) of the rear window.

Then, bond the entire section and roll over the full length with special tool 51 0 300.

IMPORTANT:
- In area (A), make sure that the seal (1) is free of bubbles and correctly rests on the window glass
- Especially in the area of the end pieces, make sure there is a clean bond.
